DIY platform tractor

Back in, I believe it would have been the mid-late '70s there was a company at a local "home show" selling a 4WD platform tractor. It was more home-owner oriented. Very low HP (I don't remember specs), probably 20HP or less. Basically it looked like a small haywagon with AG tires on it. They had pics (I think it was before video was "a thing") of it driving up and over seemingly-impossible structures and grades. My guess is that they were not quite far enough ahead of the 4wd subcompact tractor craze, and died a quick death.

Thanks for the input! The origin of my thinking...I just bought a few acres of land that is quite irregular in contour, though not really hilly overall. I have never liked pulling any kind of a trailer, let alone a loaded trailer being pulled by a tractor, so I started to think of options or a low center of gravity vehicle that didn't require a trailer to haul things, yet could still handle 3 pt hitch tools. Initial estimates say that $2,000 could make this a remote controlled tool, so visibility is a different story altogether. Use hydraulic motors in the tracks, use an electric motor (with a set of batteries) to operate the pump and a Kuboto generator (22" tall for 5.5kw) and all of a sudden the vehicle also becomes a backup generator to the homestead...tuck an air compressor in next to the engine...water pump...very useful. Although, after established, the 70% of the time it will sit with a 1,000 gallon water tank on it, prepared for fire fighting or distributing water.

A small scale of this would be an idea, with rotating cab

Sounds like a civilian version of this.
