I like having choice.

However am not too fond of having a multitude of incompatible batteries. So I keep things down to EGo 56V and DeWalt 20V.

Same here... except Stihl AP series.

I have the same 18v tools that the saw battery fits. I like extra's.

The sure way to store a 2-stroke is to drain the gas tank, put a few ounces of 2-stroke oil in the tank, pump the primer to fill the carburetor with oil.

When you need it again drain the oil from the tank, fill with premix, prime to get the oil out of the carburetor. Your first tank has a little more oil than normal but it will store this way for years without gumming the carburetor or the diaphragms getting stiff.

This is interesting. I never thought of oil for a preservative in the carb. Frankly I don't think the kind of oil is that big of deal but because I love it, it would probably be marvel MO

The idea is to use 2-stroke oil which is the oil the carburetor is used to.
