I just bought an Echo 2511t clone for $99. What was I thinking?

The alternative is to spend $540 on the 2511T like I did. I think for $100, it's worth the risk of performing some adjustments.
All freaking day too. Trying to stop buying them.

I am wanting to set one back NIB to have or give as a gift sometime too.

Only thing I did was tune mine to my liking. 😎 👍 🍻

I mean 99 bucks shipped good lord what do you want. :ROFLMAO:

Guess could be that guy that spends 500 on oem top handle and have to return it to the dealer for another one. 😂

I'll never buy another husky can either. If it had the clear lines on ends like husky ones it would be perfect. Also the nicer husky tool holders. IMHO the nozzles work better then husky oem ones.
Stihl clone Farmertec version.

All sounds too good. Kind of makes you wonder why Echo & Stihl haven’t sued these clone companies.
Maybe they own them, lol, or it’s not worth it..

Like I said, the air filter fits sorta loose, so I'll see if the OEM throat fixes this.
Did you get a oem air filter too? Going to need that also.

Like said my oem one on oem saw fits looser then my farmertec one. Grease around.

No I did not. I’ll see if the JonCutter one will fit, if not, I’ll get the OEM. It just wobbles around a lot on the clone carb. The tabs are tight, really tight, but it still has a lot of play in it for some reason

See that o-ring in there. Thats what I did to tighten fit on the V-modest one.

It fits against the O of the intake base that seem shorter.

Was just showing someone my G111 200T clone.

Over 5 years for my needs. But has took a back seat since 2511's came in to pic. Only for bigger stuff now.

Yep, XYX is correct. The OEM inlet wont work now that they fixed the mold. I will say the plastic finish quality is better than I expected.

I hope to have the saw back together this weekend. I can see myself using this for a lot of my work instead of the CS400

Another tree blew down, and my Joncutter got another workout. I was pleased that when the fuel ran out, there was still a ounce or oil left in the tank. My neighbor stopped by to talk, and I let him try out the saw. It was kind of funny to watch. He was kind of gingerly in the cut. I think he thought small saw, small power. I find my self getting a better touch with it - keeping the RPMs up but pushing it harder. My 50cc + saws look huge to me now.

Guys like Jeephead and you are bad influences on me. Now I am thinking about buying 3 more to donate to my favorite High School Tech Ed Open houses for raffle prizes. I may have to seek out some sort of 12 step program!
