Another use for Fluid Film

I used silicone spray on my snowblower in years past, works like a charm for sticky snow. The only problem is when you go to touch up the paint in the spring, the paint won't have anything to do with the sprayed surfaces.

I thought spraying fluid whether Fluid Film or WD on lock was not good as it would cause dirt/dust to stick to them and gum up the works!

I agree! I would only use silicone or a dry lubricant like LPS1 on a lock
