I get it, but if you can get a run, even a 300cc ATV can push a lot of snow.

Coming out of that building with its oily floor wasn't the best for a run. But this machine is quite heavy, maybe 1400lbs (can't recall) without the pods and those tack lugs really do grab snow. So getting some inertia is not a primary thing for pushing snow.

Look like the wind went down overnight so we'll head out this morning and at least clear our trails parking lot. Stay tuned for grooming news.

This machine has more H power, weight and stator capability and it sure does more work on our trails.

Parked. Its no good in deep snow where as a roller can still be used. Rolling = 3" and more, drag = 3" or less.

The 6x6 broke something to or in the front drive late yesterday since the front quit helping. Should be able to get it into the shop today. Its under warranty.

Plowing is hard on machines, bigger they are, the smaller “parts” don’t hold up ( keys, shafts, splines, couplers)

Plow is not at all hard like towing implements is. Done both jobs, lots.

I always get a kick out of it when folks say "atv's can't push real snow!" This machine has a 72" blade and really can push it.

Well, that thing is HEAVY and on tracks, of course it's going to push real snow.

My outlanderXP hates pushing wet heavy snow. In fact, it can't without abusing it.

I tried every piece of equipment to plow the snow at my place in steamboat. My problem was I would be away for a couple of weeks then come up and have to dig out from feet of snow. That got old real quick.

This was my solution...heated driveway. Best money ever spent.

Not in my world

Anything used with a plow on it will have undoubtedly more wear/tear and breakage be it atv or truck. It isn’t a good/bad thing. Plowing is hard on vehicles/components. Just push a snow shovel into a nailhead on your deck, lol

I believe it was a splines or coupling into the front axle.
