Have you soaked the nuts and thread with penetrating oil ? I like Kroil penetrating fluid. When i get a hard to remove nut i turn to my crowfoot wrenches. That way you can get a breaker bar attached then use a long pipe for greater leverage. I like Engineer 42 comments with using the water...

I always prefer using a pipe wrench but i also have those slip joint pliers that have the curved jaws that work well on pipe.. I have found that straight jaw pliers only work good on fittings that have 'flats' on them. I know it might be a pain but i would take those pavers up at the propane...

I luv those windows allowing the views to the outside ! One tool i don't have is a drum sander which would make sanding those panels look more smooth.

If i paint my cabinets ( which i normally don't do ) i use popular or some other hardwood for face frames and doors. I use my biscuit jointer to make bigger panels if over 10 inches wide. MDF is great for painting, it also mills a smooth surface for design detail.

Its satin for my ceilings and walls. Semi gloss enamel on wood trim. Never bought a gal. of flat paint in my lifetime....just like a shine better ! Get it all primed first which will give you time to choose !

You could use your tractor and have the concrete dumped into the bucket. I do that when i have a tight place i can't get the truck close enough to. Just pour 2 piers , one on each end where the tank feet are. Don't really need a full pad.

Do you have fans or a dehumidifier to get that damp air out so the drywall can dry out ? Don't get in a rush to paint anything until you know it is dry to do so !

I usually just put one coat of primer on...no paint ! I use plastic saran wrap ( i get the big box at Costco ) to wrap my rollers up with. Roll out a strip of saran then lay roller on it and roll up sealing the ends well. I leave the roller handle on i know i will be using again in a day or so...

I have never used a pvc slip coupler like you used. I always have used the rudder boot coupler, never had a leak. I could see where if you didn't get enough glue on the pipe and slip coupler it would rub away as you turn to slip it in place. So now you are waiting for the inspector to come out...

It has been this rate for the 8 years we have had it. Our propane currently is 2.89 a gallon ! They installed and set the tank up then also hook up the supply line from the tank to the kitchen appliances. I now run my own supply lines for different things i need to run on propane.

Yes...only the power company can kill power to the building. That being said the fire department can take the meter out if needed ! Once the fire hits the breaker box it will kill the power ! I rarely ever see a disconnect between the meter and the main breaker box on residential buildings...

After watching the video, it is indeed a poor job on the roofers part of not flashing the vent pipes ! Not sure i would ever recommend them to do roofing work !

Its on the main panel breaker box. Only other option is for the power company to throw a cutoff switch at the transformer.

Here in Tenn. its a straight run from the transformer vault to the meter, then the meter to the breaker box inside the building. No Transfer or cutoff switch involved.

Looks like the transfer box and conduit are right on the siding seam ? Did you make sure that seam is sealed well ? That could be a problem down the road if the sealant fails ? The progress looks great and you will be excited to throw the power switch on !!!
