Be very carefully with this. I am not familiar with what solenoid is used on this diesel pump. Some solenoids are energized to open the fuel rack. Some are energized to temporarily close the fuel rack. Some are PWM and a direct 12 volt will fry it.

It depends if the Kioti fuel cap is vented. an automotive fuel cap is not vented so as to pull a vacuum in the tank. My DK55 fuel cap is vented.

I am of the belief that plastic cannot be successfully repairs, especially a fuel tank. If you really have to take a lot apart to get to the fuel tank, do it once and spend the money for a new tank.
