The DK55 comes with a latch that holds the clutch pedal down when parked. As for a tractor sitting outside, rain will not enter the bell housing. There should be a drain hole in the bottom to let water or oil out. Condensation is the issue so even if the tractor is in a barn, it will be exposed to the same humidity. As to releasing a clutch that is frozen, it may help to park the tractor for a week with the clutch pedal depressed then try driving it into the pile again. Another thing you can try is to take off the starter and spray brake cleaner over the clutch disk area.
