I use an inverted Meteor snowblower, sitting comfortably in my heated cab listening to rock n roll on the stereo.
GG - like your window fix! that's thinking ahead, and yes ice is the worst.
Daughter lives in the Smoky Mtns. roads are narrow, hilly terrain, they get the occasional ice storm, but when it happens its dangerous as they don't deal with these conditions often.
I was wrong…3 more inches overnightFinally got some snow. 6” overnight…but it’s due to warm up again
I use this LS MT357 with LW3174A-74" snowblowerHow do y'all remove snow? Plow truck, snowblower, 3-point back blade, etc.
Our primary snow mover is the 1989 Jeep Cherokee XJ with a 6'6" Western snowplow. It does a real good job with a front diff lock, 5 speed with the 4.0L. It's nice to have a heated cab. Traction becomes an issue in wet, sloppy spring snows though. View attachment 4419913
At my last job they had multiple tracked skid steers. Note I don't have one at our house to push snow with. This now….View attachment 4779685

^New for this year, and of course, we've had almost no plowable snow. Just some slush that was easily scrapped off with the snowpush.
Reasoning: Used the rear blade first because it was cheap. Then Parents resealed the driveway and didn't want a metal edge on the sealant. So the snowpush with a stiff rubber edge was purchased. That worked well for a little while, but the second picture was about all it could handle snow wise (Maybe most of that was my fault, maybe I just needed more weight on the L3901) so this fall I picked up the blower. I'm itching to put it to use! Might get my chance this week but time will tell!
