How do you plow snow?

Updating my snow fighter. Kubota M7060, Hiniker 8.5' V Plow with 1' wings I just fabed up so 10.5' span now. (no paint yet) 84" Landpride Blower with all hydraulic controls and custom hydraulic back drag I fabed up a few weeks ago. I also have a 7' box blade, 8' 3 point hydraulic angle blade and a 3 point salt spreader depending on the kind of precipitation we get.
I have no compulsion to invest that much money to deal with snow.

From the looks of the pictures/ background/ neighborhood/ I think you are the go to guy when it snows out there. Am I right?

Does the town call you to fill in when some of their snow removal equipment breaks down?

That is quite the fabrication job on the rear blower.
My standard rear blower is kind of a drag (pun) operating near cars or garage doors.
The decked out blowers with back drags, or pull type blowers are just so expensive that I can't justify the $$ for my rare use of the blower.
Nice work!

Getting outside to unload our 6x6 and get its plow back on so as to do our yard. I will get a few pics for you guys. We have a Outlander 4x4 being assembled now awaiting various parts for it. So we are looking for a plow to go with it that we won't break or wear out. I sent to much time rebuilding the KFI made plow on the 6x6.

Arly, I had a factory plow on a Ranger and there was a shear pin on it that kept breaking. I get more snow than most people but not as much as you will get in the UP.

IMO none of the ATV/SxS plows are tough enough to move a lot of snow. If it does not have a shear pin, then something is going to bend or get broken.

The CF Moto dealer tried to talk me into a plow when I bought the Unforce 1000 this year. I smiled and told him "No thanks, I have better options".

The Ranger was OK dealing with 4 inches of snow. The plow is not attached on the picture below, but I did have tracks to help with traction. The problem is the amount of force it takes to move snow as it gets deeper and wetter.

My suggestion is look for a plow that has a shear pin and have a few spares. This is what the Polaris plow used:

You need a RAMMY 155 Commercial single stage snow thrower for your ranger.
