maybe it's just a "feature". it's easier to remove, and will fall off if used improperly, preventing breakage!..

Presumably the ssqa and bucket were working fine until recently? And now the bucket falls off 7 times in a day. Ought to be fairly straightforward to figure out what changed.

Take a big hammer to the pin slot and straighten it up to tighten against the pin

I dont see any wear or bending that isn't supposed to be bent. The cut out box lines are straight with no indication on any wear other than paint worn off . From the scrapped off paint, it looks like the OP might be trying to hook up on unlevel ground because the paint is scuffed off badly on the left side but not on the right.
Try hooking / unhooking on level ground and it will go easier although really not necessary. The way to hookup it to tilt your QA assembly to full dump and maneuver it under to top lip till both sides are fully engaged, then raise the FEL and tilt the bucket back so the weight of the bucket is keeping it engaged against the pins the lower the handles fully to engage the pins and compress the spring.
There is an adjustment to adjust the spring tension. It should be really tight but no so tight that you cant fully depress the lever.
My brother-in-law's New Holland got so loose once that there was no spring tension to hold the pin down. The pin was about 1 thread from falling off, so check that also.

Gary, you are correct. I have been hooking the bucket up in some very odd positions due to it falling off while loading dirt in a ditch along the road. I could have put a chain around it and pulled it to level ground but it has happened so frequently it was wearing me out.

I am going to adjust the pin/spring tension and see if that works. I would say the handles are snug but not too difficult to push down and lock into place.

The upper wedge of the bucket doesn't appear bent or to be an issue.

Also, check the receiver on the loader. It should be even and straight. Sometimes the cylinders will not extend or retract evenly without something ridged (bucket, forks, etc) connected. that may be causing the SSQA to not be tight enough to engage the locking pin allowing it to slip behind the slot

When the handles go "over center" they should almost compltely compress the spring.

Ok, couldnt remember at what HP the change was.. I have the LA853 on my L5030, never had the bucket come off.

So a couple people responded that they did not see what I think is wear on the bucket.
My eyes are not what they used to be, however this still looks like a problem to me.
Maybe the main problem, maybe not, but looks like it needs to be addressed.

Am I just seeing things?

If it is bent down it definitely needs to be addressed, but the way I see it, it looks liked scraped paint, but I am using my phone so it it could be bent.

No I see it too. The sun angle and shadow make it hard to see.

I lightened the picture to make the shadow stand out and added a straight line along the edge of the slot:

The worn spot shows in the dip on the shadow on the back of the bucket.

The way the slot is worn, the pin should be worn at the edges and not flat all the way across.

But I don't think the slight amount of wear would cause the bucket to come off.

Yeah that would definitely need to be fixed unless you can make the pin drive further down in the hole to cause more friction. If it’s wore like that, I’m curious how worn are the pins.
