I had some washed rock left over from another project stored in 1/2's of a 55gal drum. The tractor sure made easy work of getting it into the barn.

We've been somewhat overtaken with other "stuff" to work on this spring so the barn is not getting much steady attention. We did however get the roofing & ridge cap finished in late May. Here are some photos of that process starting w/finishing the last roofing panels, left off so I could easily climb onto the roof from the high loft.

The high roof is done & it's all smiles now. We pulled off the little aluminum ladder used to get off the high roof. Now we're finishing the last 2 pieces of siding I held out for roof access.

All done & checked out by QC! Time to come off the roof. Using a big manila rope to ballance to. It's tied off to the tractor on the other side of the barn & pulled across the roof. We did all that before we started closing in.
