And it’s idiotic how science is mid-perceived as politics.

The issue with Covid and politics is, the lines are blurred so stepping over either is real easy to do.

We're grown ups, we can handle it. The babysitter mentality has to be let go.

I have belonged to other groups that were hijacked by acrimonious political discussions so that we didn’t even talk about the main focus of the group anymore. I’m glad that we have standards here.

The reason COVID discussions are no longer allowed is simple and anything but arbitrary. COVID threads invariably degrade into politics. How? A few people are not honorable enough to abide by the rules of no politics, which they agreed to when they registered at TBN.

Gee Mike, I forgot about you being a moderator as well. I don't see you much on here anymore.

The issue with that is, those standards are not evenly applied. IOW, some posters get away with murder and others get quashed.

In reality there is no relationship: one is medical science, one is social science. But the current public discourse has illogically associated the two.

Lemme get this straight. TBN is ‘bad’ because it is over moderated and TNT is ‘bad’ because there is no moderation.

However it plays, so long as my wife and I don't contract it, I'm all good. I actually prefer not to discuss it anyway. it's depressing.
