I know another forum where ownership basically said...gYOF (get your own forum) if you want to discuss other topics, not thinking it could be done. We we did and took it back to what drew people to the initial forum, content. They were fixated on forum software features, layout, and automation; then it lost track of the thing that made it great to begin with. The life cycle of a forum is finite, it turns out.

I long for the days when the software was basic, the layout was crude, but the content of conversation was great. People went to forums that broached topics that were not easily discussed with their neighbor.

Now we might as well go back to the neighbors to talk life.

K0ua - sorry to see you go. You are not the first person to leave due to these changes and the way it is being carried out.
Site owners can do what they wish, their site.

But maybe take some time off and think about coming back.

Losing so many good people so fast is worrying.

James is a good friend to me. I guard the Northern border of our great State, he guards the Southern border.

I left TBN for several months. Came back a couple months ago. Immediately noticed a change here. I had witnessed the Gestapo management of the Administrator on another site. Didn't think it would come here. That was naive of me.

This is the only place I've ever been where such a large group of Conservatives are herded by such a small group of Liberals. Socialism at it's finest. :)

Hope you will rethink this decision later down the road.

Your posts have bought value to this forum, and cannot easily be replaced.
Can’t say that about all of us. 😉

James, there are 2 other tractor forums that do have C19 threads. However, no politicalness allowed there. The threads just talk about how people got thru the ordeals and what was helpful. More supportive to help people rather than rants.

Sorry to see you go.
...and you and I both know one of them in as much as we are both on it.. Weren't' we just posting about organic herbicides????

I too find the moderation on this site to be arbitrary and heavy handed and absolutely 'woke'. I've gotten more than one vacation because a nameless moderator construed my comment as political. We all know who that is too.

I would suggest joining Smith and Wesson Forums as you can discuss politics, Covid or anything else, gun related or not there. Not the S&W Blue Forum, the other one. the Blue forum is extremely woke and suffocating.

Sorry to read this, it's a shame that some people can't handle the fact that other people have different values
and are unable to listen to other ideas.

I understand why you are leaving. I was asked about my personal experience about getting covid for the second time and the thread was closed minutes after I posted my reply. It's pretty disappointing when you say something that goes against a moderators personal feelings.

Hopefully it's not a trend here, I've been on here for awhile and enjoy the site, but if it becomes another place that pushes a personal agenda, it might be time to move on too.
