For all you ETA grapple-bucket fans, here are some pics of my handy towing/lifting/rigging-chain storage... I am sure that many/most of you have already seen this or iterations of it and perhaps have designed your own adaptation... I give you my rendition herein and look forward to YOUR ideas/application(s)... The loader-tube-liner/'chain-holder' is salvaged (free) drainage pvc (ADVANTAGE: It has a thinner wall, lighter-weight, and allows more room for a LONG chain) and the vented ends are heavy-duty pvc drains... The pipe/end-plugs have added friction via duct-tape...

NOTE: I also replaced the original small (4"x4"x12") OEM plastic tool-box (behind the seat) with a steel (6"x8"x20") and the addition of a OEM bracket... The bracket/parts/tool-box cost approx. $50 and is MUCH more useful/professional... I will be happy to post pics if there is any interest... BTW, this is not tractor-specific, as I understand this is a universal issue and this tool-box-issue remedies many such problems... LMK

The hydraulic cylinders are wrapped with oily rags to keep the from rusting and to protect them from getting damaged/scratched... It would be difficult/inconvenient (almost impossible) to store the grapple-bucket without leaving the cylinders exposed...

Attached are 4 pictures of the steel-tool-box retro-fit and 1 small plastic original... I did not take a pic with ALL my tools in it but in addition to them it also holds a full-size grease gun and if I leave the lid open it will hold my small STIHL-Pro climbing-chain-saw... NOTE: I ordered/installed an additional mounting bracket, the tool box is secured with 1/4" rubber-sandwich (between the 2 rear brackets AND on the bottom) and 1/4" rubber matt inside/lining the bottom (this rubber matt covers the 2 bottom mounting bolts)... I hope this is clear and helpful...

Yours looks better than show room treatment.

Thanks... Like a LOT of folks, I came up the hard way... Learned how to make-do/take care of my/old man's tools/equipment/vehicles OR ELSE... EVERYTHING gets used (NOT abused) and put away cleaned/greased/sharpened/adjusted/READY to go back to work (in ANY emergency)... I am VERY thankful/appreciative... NO trust-fund, NO inheritance, NO welfare, NO fat-gifts here (not one gawd damned f'ing screwdriver)... When you navigate life via hard-knocks, blood/sweat/tears, I don't think I have to tell YOU, what it takes to purchase/maintain/preserve... It's all good man, I own/embrace/LOVE it all...

MY cup runneth over...

Here are 3 more pics of the retro-fit tool box, since I mentioned the grease-gun/chain saw... NOTE: There are many other tool-boxes/caddy's out there and some new/better ones coming... I am sure YOU can improve... ;+)

Let's turn this thread back to the ETA Wicked Grapple Bucket... NOTE: The ETA Bush Hog...;+)

I hope this side-track has been a help NOT a hijack...

This was lifting our back wheels off the ground
so we just repositioned it for more chainsaw work.
