I asked members in the EA Channel Facebook group to caption this pic of Ted & Peanut with our new 400 pound Wicked 60 grapple rake and the Kubota L6060.

Hilarious chaos ensued...

"Grapple with this, punk."
"I'm looking to bust this thing!"
"I'm here to break stuff and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of bubble gum."
"We got to get to the tractor ( in arnold swarzenegger voice)"
"BBBBBB-BAD! Bad to the Bone!"
"Two bad boys flirtin' with disaster!"
"Peanut, Hold my beer!!"
"Maverick and Goose about to go tear some sh*t up."
"In Tony Montana's voice Let me introduce you to my lil friend"
"Kick the tires and light the fire."
"In the narrators voice of the dukes of hazard.... The EA boys are at it again?
"Go big or go home!"
"I like big grapples and I can not lie and all you other fellows can't deny..."
Something Wicked this way comes...
The Bad Boys Of Newton North Carolina...
"Dam peanut , this is a tough bunch! I gave them my heart (55) and now here's my soul (60)!!! What more can I give???"
"Peanut the legend!"

I was only going to pick a few to share, but, heck, I love em all!

Excellent summary of grapple options Travis! As to width, should a grapple cover the tractor's width, out-to-out at the tires? Let's assume it is being used to clear brush in a forested area.

No reason to be the same width as the standard bucket. Narrow grapples are much easier to maneuver in forested areas. Narrow grapples are lighter and therefore can carry a bigger payload. Narrow grapples are much better for uprooting brush because they concentrate force. No problem pushing into deep brush with a narrower grapple than wheel width either as the grapple acts like the prow of a ship and pushes loose brush outboard. In deep brush you really aren't going to drive in very far anyways as you'll fill the grapple and need to reverse out to dump the load. I have a 48" grapple on a 40hp Kioti with 2760lb lift capacity. Very happy with it going into the 13th season.

He's back.

If you guys had answered 777’s question I could have stayed in my den watching Stormy Daniels implode the Presidency.

She’s the best argument for a dual lid grapple I’ve ever heard.

Please don’t start that over here, go to FP. Understand they’re giving free prostate exams over there?

You don't like big dual lids? You unAmurican or somethin?
The second funniest post I ever read on this forum was a about a backhoe but S.D was mentioned....something about an "old hoe needing new life"...:D

Might I add, what beautiful landscaping.

Nice job!

Nice to have the ability to grub and cut brush, grapple logs, load and spread dirt with the bucket, AND use a box blade - All while never leaving the seat! :D

I have approx. 75 hours on my ETA 66" dual-lid grapple and I am amazed at how sharp the edges/teeth are STILL... I want to warn you to BE CAREFUL... VERY impressive how ETA does this fabrication and the quality of materials... I have beat the ever-loving-f'ing-sh't out of this grapple and it still looks/performs like new... Can't say enough good about all their products AND their service... Farmers like ME need purveyors like ETA...

I would nominate 'Everything Attachments, LLC' for a United States Department Of Agriculture meritorious service award...

Today I used my 60" dual lid Wicked grapple to rip up a bunch of dead poison oak and coyotebrush and pile it up out of sight. This would have been a lot harder if not impossible with just a bucket. Awesome tool.
