I suppose I could/someone should... I am not sure how well it would be received/used... Seems that EA is building/marketing a LOT of implements and perhaps a general 'EverythingAttachments' thread would be more appropriate/useful... EA is a BIG player in this niche market and they seem to be doing a great job... Got to give credit where it is due... Not perfect but certainly in the excellent category... If they or anyone else wanted to start such a thread I certainly would support it... BUT, you/they got to take the bad with the good... I whole-heartedly/soulfully support genuine information/communication/truth/excellence/grace/contrite apologies/forgiveness/redemption/hard work/George Washington 'independence'...

You could start one on the cutter, but check the Sticky EA Thread at the top of the forum: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/165292-everythingattachments-com.html

And you could add to their thread on the 60" brush hog: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/322653-bush-hogging-how-video-eta.html?highlight=

Had a chance to test out the gripping power of my EA grapple Friday...needed to pull a 22" 36 foot log up hill out of some brush so I could get to it easier. The 'teeth" on the EA grapple didn't slip and my 4WD Kubota backed it out successfully. I know I should have used a chain and drawbar, but I was using the grapple to grab and move limbs and the log called to me :).

Thanks for this info... Just the ticket...

Awesome, wngsprd! The lid geometry produces very efficient clamping force and those Wicked teeth speak for themselves!! Thanks for showing off it's capabilities, man.

It has been a while since any posts/pics... I needed better access to one of my pole-barn bays and had always anticipated removing an additional live-oak that was partially hampering that access and I HAVE TWO NEW IMPLEMENTS ON ORDER FROM EA (75 HP Extreme-Duty Rotary Cutter and 62" Roto-Tiller gear-drive)... I have been so impressed with the EA workmanship/cutting-welding/business acumen/communication/shipping-handling/etc. that I decided to get these next two implements from them as well... I am especially looking forward to the 75 HP rotary-cutter because it is FULLY WELDED (not 'stitch-welded') and they have agreed to install chain guards front/rear... I went with the extreme-duty/beefed-up HP version of the 60" (overall dimensions a consideration for this application) so that I could take some specialty/local jobs requiring finesse/maneuverability... And the tiller is an all gear-drive forward-rotating heavy-duty model with an excellent recommendation from EA... I will keep you posted on these new implements... NOTE: Since I got the EA dual-lid 66" grapple I have been stacking brush differently... I was brought-up cutting/stacking brush all the same direction with the butt-ends all oriented at one end/direction... But with the EA dual-lid grapple bucket I can better handle MUCH more brush if I alternate with the butt-ends in the middle/tops out-board... This makes for a very wide load and side-clearance could be an issue (especially on a hill/incline/close to a shoulder/ditch)... It takes a little planning...View attachment 543388 View attachment 543389 View attachment 543390 View attachment 543391

Very nice, LiveDog. I haven't had much time to browse TBN lately because our phones and email flow has been relentless!
I notice more green in those pics!! Your new order should be coming up soon!!!

I started a new thread to reach more people, but I think this Epic Wicked Thread is also a good spot for it!!

Which Wicked Grapple?
There really is no easy answer, so I came up with this "guide" to choosing the best grapple. I will be tweaking it as time goes by, so feel free to add your thoughts. Descriptive photos for certain tasks will also be helpful. We can use this as a resource for new grapple shoppers!

First!!
Whatever you do...Demand The Best and Choose Wicked.
We know grapples because we use grapples. Not just for glamour shots and videos, either.
To maintain and maximize your tractor's lift capacity and agility, you MUST choose a properly sized grapple. We have IDEALLY sized and weighted grapples for various tractor sizes, so we can help you choose the BEST for yours.
If you want the best advice when choosing the IDEAL grapple for your tractor and application, decide to buy a Wicked Grapple and consult with the pros at Everything Attachments! You will NOT be disappointed.

Root Rake Style:
The dozer-like tine geometry of the rake style promotes a tractor's ability to push the tines through the ground with ease.
The root rake style allows you to pull brush, vines and other debris backwards, which isn't recommended with many long bottom grapples. Besides pulling backwards, you can also pull down. Reach up and snap a limb off the tree if you feel like it. The root rake style will easier "unload", so you can hover over the trailer, dumpster, pile, etc., open it up and whatever you've captured is gone!

Kubota BX
We make the best root rake style grapple for Kubota BX tractors with a 3 pin configuration. At 150 pounds, lift capacity is maximized.
The serrated upper and lower tines will hold the load and greasable pivot points are a must!

Subcompact and small compact tractors under 40HP
Our 200 pound Wicked 55 rake style grapple has been amazingly popular and effective on subcompact and small compact tractors under 40 horsepower. It really ups a tractor's ability if it is starving for lift capacity.

35-65+HP Tractors
If you love the 55, but need heavier due to tractor size, our new Wicked 60 rake style grapple is it's juiced up bro. It is a 400 pound versatile brute unlike any other rake style grapple on the market.
3/8" AR400 construction and an added 3rd lid hinge makes it VERY rigid and capable!

35-70HP Tractors
If the main objective is sinking the tines in the ground to rip roots and stumps, our Xtreme Root Rake Grapple has longer, rigid, and aggressive 1/2" tines for all out root demolition! It also has fewer tines, so a tractor will be able to push it through the ground more efficiently. Having fewer upper and lower tines does make it less versatile for other grappling needs such as handling finer, loose material such as hay/manure or split firewood.

Original Wicked Long Bottom Models:
Because of the unique tine design, you will also be able to push our unobstructed long-bottom Wicked Grapple tines through the ground.
You should be able to grab a larger pile of brush with the traditional Wicked style because you can cradle and physically fit more inside it's "mouth". You can cradle things(logs, boulders, etc) with the flat bottom and stack items on it for transport. Heck, someone used it as a saw table recently. Our superior Wicked tine design is a step above any other long bottom grapple on the market!

Tractors under 35HP
If you have a tractor under 35 horsepower, prefer the longer bottom, and want to keep the weight down, our 50" single lid model, which weighs under 300 pounds, is probably the one for you!

Compact tractors with 35-65HP
The ones that started it all. Original Wicked here. Race Car Inspired.
For maneuverability I like 60 or 66? but width is debatable.
There's little weight difference between all of them, so it really boils down to what you like.
Single vs dual lid has about as much to do with personal preference as it does functionality. The single lid pics submitted by customers are impressive to say the least, but there are some situations where dual gets my vote. Dual lids clamp extremely awkward loads more efficiently and will grab loose material like firewood better.

Large Compact & Utility Tractors with up to 75HP
This grapple ups the opening to 42", which increases capacity and weight(only to the 600 pound range) for the bigger tractors. If you have a larger compact tractor like our L6060, Kioti NX, JD 4066R, and are more concerned with capacity than maximizing your lifting ability, these guys may be for you.

Large Utility Tractors up to 125HP

Big guys matter, too, so demand pushed us to make the largest Wicked Grapple in existence. Ted tested with the Kubota M6-141, so we know it's STRONG.
It maintains our signature Wicked serrations and adds an exclusive EA design feature: Serrated Bolt in Wicked plates for shearing and ripping.

Great descriptions Travis! That should really give buyers a good idea of each grapple, size and style. All they need to do is contact you all to finalize their decision. Looking forward to getting my 73 utility grapple in the coming weeks.

Guys, I ordered a grapple from Travis last week for my Kubota M7060 after years of procrastination. He was super helpful with answering all my questions thru many emails before and after my order. So far I couldn稚 be happier with the process. The 4 week wait is going to be tough, but well worth the wait I知 sure! If anyone is in the market for any style grapple, they really owe it to themselves to give Travis or one of the guys at EA a call or email! They are top notch.

I ordered from Travis last week also. Sometimes I second guess my purchase and other times I think I picked the right one. I went with a 72" long tooth model. I think I will like it.

I’ve done a ton of research, years of it actually, and I’m sure I made the right choice. I can say without a doubt you made the right choice in going with EA, but if you’re unsure with the size or style of grapple you ordered, just contact Travis. He’ll make sure you get the right one. One of the benefits of buying from them.
