I dont know, I think it is partly because I left several bags of cement on the tractor yesterday and also left my $1500 jackhammer out!:mur: What a moron I am,,grrrrrrrr What I get coming in half asleep in the early am.
Dennis,
Cement on the tractor? What, are you afraid the tractor will blow a way?:confused2: Maybe you need to feed it more iron or maybe some RED paint?.:laughing::laughing:
hugs, Brandi

Hey y'all! I have a nice, young commercial bull, (mostly Hereford) that I am going to sell. He is hand gentle, as in I can walk up to him anywhere, and pet him. He is approx. 15-16 mos old. I was hoping to finish him out, but am rapidly running out of pasture grass. Since he is so gentle, (and I got very attached to him!), I'd rather not take him to market, if someone can use him on some heifers or cows. He is located just a few miles south of Weatherford.

PM me, if you need photos or more info.

Are you saying you'll "loan" out Ferdinand? But that you'd like him back when greener pastures come?

Don, I just did some research from the Atacoma county airport's weather station (about 1/2 mile from me).

Since May 10th, we've had a whopping 0.69" of rainfall....:(

I actually lost power yesterday for around 2 hours? came on just when the heat was getting bad. The down burst must have dropped a limb on a line somewhere. Things sure greened up too.

Chance of rain here through next Wednesday, so cross your fingers.

Oh..........Booger protects the Big RED Beast and all my stuff. Only language barrier is between Booger and all the squirrels he chases. What has me wondering is why does your cement need protecting.:confused2::confused:

Kyle; I would sell him. Hadn't really thought about "loaning" him, but that might be an option too. His name is "Hereford". I know, original. I wasn't trying to give names, so that I wouldn't get attached. I had 3, and sold "Gray" and "Red". Hereford was gentle enough that I wasn't too worried about liability, since neighbors sometimes have horses here for a couple of weeks at a time.

I don't have any girls for him, as I got out of Cow/Calf a few years ago, when the drought really began. With last year's rains, I got the 3 calves to raise and keep the Ag exemption.

This boy was raised on grass, up until about 3-4 weeks ago, when grass began drying up. Was going for organic, but just couldn't get the weather to cooperate. I know with his teenage hormones, he'd be happier with some girls! I'm gonna miss him, and if I sell him for someone for a breeding bull, I may ask for "visitation rights"! (Of course, once he has been with the heifers and cows, he probably won't care if I call him to be petted or not! :D )
