isn’t that the truth.

And all EV owners are ‘greenies’
Liberal guests at our home are often surprised that we recycle, even sort recyclables separately. Almost like they believe the hype that Conservatives don't care about the environment. We do, but we focus more on effective measures rather than the feel good, hashtag, bumper sticker activism that the Left embraces.

The libs I know waste more than I ever could. Not much is wasted here, food goes down the chain and everything biodegradable winds as dirt one way or another. I've build more out of junk and leftover material than most. Grow or hunt most of my food, takes work not slogans or twitter.

…... Batteries will have to have 8-10 hour life.…..

Not necessarily. Many small tractors are used only for a few minutes at a time. And when a utility or yard tractor sits waiting to do something it is not using much battery if any.

Your 8-10 hour case there is only one use-case for tractors. MANY small utility tractor use-cases would lend itself quite well to an electric power supply.

What other option does he have?
Honesty?
Thing that disgusts me is that politics has (for the left) become something like it is for the thuggish fans of futball teams like say Manchester United or Leeds.
Nobody cares about anything other than their team right or wrong.
99.999% of the punters on the progressive left have no idea what it is they are rooting for. They are told all manner of nonsense and they choose to believe it and to hell with any critical questions.

They don't know the end game. Never have. Bill Ayers did. The weathermen did. Ayers and the weathermen could contact each other during difficult times by walking into any CCP, Soviet, or Cuban Embassy and they were in a safe place where they could contact each other while being shielded by the embassy's diplomatic protection.

These are the same people who openly discussed slaughtering us by the millions if the re-education camps they imagined for us failed to prove useful.
The Punters on the left haven't even a tiny clue what it is they are rooting for.

I wish it was a sex robot. I haven't got one yet so it'd be a physics problem if it were.
Anyway you need to do some research if you want o know
Take the name Larry Grathwohl, and run with it. He did a documentary on it.
He infiltrated the Weathermen, for the FBI, and explains that the Weathermen actually believed that they would be successful in overthrowing the U.S. government and that, with the help of the Cubans, Chinese, Russians, and North Vietnamese, they would occupy America. Americans would have to be "re-educated" in camps, similar to what the communists did in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and other countries they had taken over.
Here is one of the chilling revelations Larry Grathwohl made in his documentary film: "I asked, "Well what is going to happen to those people we can't reeducate, that are die-hard capitalists?" And the reply was that they'd have to be eliminated. And when I pursued this further, Bill Ayers estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers. And when I say "eliminate," I mean "kill." Twenty-five million people. I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known respected universities, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people and they were dead serious.

The punters on the left simply do not have even a tiny clue what the end game is. It's childish to imagine that this horror should happen in Russia, China, Vietnam, much of South America and they think it's not going to happen here. The USA is the Golden Pearl The communists are dying (literally) for the goal of conquering the USA and anyone who voted progressive is part of it.

As someone who just wants to be left alone, I think anyone attempting to apply any unwanted pressure on me is an *******. I don't care what side they come from, nor their intentions. The empire Republic has already fallen, so try to enjoy the ride it's going to be bad. 🤷‍♂️

It may not be visible, but we've long passed the tipping point.

Didn't know who about this guy until I did a search.

How is he not in jail for the rest of his life? How did he retire as a professor?

The cordless drills over heat pretty quick if you are drilling many holes or anything of real size/thickness. I use my corded drills just as often as my cordless. I also tend to use air tools more than battery tools. I like technology but it has to work for me. I don't have a cell phone because there is coverage here, I could get 1 bar up at the cattle pasture but why go 1/2 mile to make a call.
The early gas and electric cars had the same problem, if one lived out side the city there was no electric or gas stations nearby. Just remember electric car were on the market along side gas and steam cars in the early years. Just like steam tech I don't really want to wait hours to have my tools or vehicles to be ready use.

FYI I worked in the tech industries for most of my life, can work, design and repair about anything, write code, etc. Because of that I see some real problems with current EV trends, that I don't track for me.
Cordless drills over heating isn't the point, there's always someone that has an exception and because of that, their opinion negates everything else. Who cares that they used steam and along side gas and electric, it proved that it didn't work out. Thank God people stopped driving gas cars because of the over 100 people that were killed because of a faulty ignition switch, because they saw a problem with an issue gas cars.
