You are joking - - right? The whole nation was in turmoil over it and here you are playing dumb?
Nope, still don’t know what insurance you were forced to buy.

Not everyone was forced to buy insurance. Many got their insurance for free, subsidized by those of us who didn't qualify for "free" health care. The alternative was to pay a tax penalty.

I've learned long ago that most folks have NO idea what their insurance of any type does or does not cover until after the fact. Nor do most understand the concepts of deductible or max out of pocket and how that impacts your "final" cost of insurance.

It often takes an attorney to decipher the legalese language in these documents, similar to the "terms of use" and "privacy policies" of software companies. If you actually read and understood what they are saying, there would be lot fewer apps still active on your phone. I regularly decline and say "no thanks".

While I do read the software docs since I used to be in the business for implementing things in non standard ways. Had to stay out of trouble. I'm just taking how many do not know what they are buying. Local company offers employee health insurance but can not or will not provide any info other than weekly cost. No one knows what is covered, their deducible, max out of pocket or copay. Yet they pay for it, why???? Where I used to work we had 4 or 5 choice every year and you had to do your math to figure out which worked best for you. When I was young and single did not need the same coverage I did with a family and young kids. Now I'm old really do not need insurance for Prenatal or child birth.
I drive old cars so I don't need full coverage that cost more per year than I paid for the car. I can fix stuff...

BTW I refuse to own a phone these days and don't use Windows or any other MS product. I avoid google and many others as much as possible. With a little effort (and knowledge) you run everything you want with out any of the major vendors.

The theory is great, but the engineering isn't here yet. Infinite speed with no transmission gears and battery adds weight. But, unlike a car, there will have to be a way to cool the electric motor or motors. Batteries will have to have 8-10 hour life. And the price will have to be comparable..... without subsidies.
The motors and batteries all have cooling systems.

Ummm no. The trend toward plain language had been ongoing for a couple of decades in the industry.
What advantage the attorney has is really all about familiarity and habituation. We are accustomed to reading lots of dense material.
But if you will stick to it and highlight terms you don't understand and LOOK THEM UP well you will be golden. I promise.

Thing is most people can't bring themselves to read their written agreements to understand what exactly they are contracting for.
Pro tip: They are called "Written Agreements" unless they are merely spoken then it's still an "agreement."
The written agreement contains the "terms of contract."
So the course titled "CONTRACTS" in law school is not about how to draft written agreements but rather about the terms of contract that is in the agreements.

The anti ev's seem to have the strongest "feelings/emotions" based on this thread.

isn’t that the truth.

And all EV owners are ‘greenies’
