Recommendation for 3-point forks

I bought the King Kutter carry-all and bolted 2x12 boards to it to make a working platform and wood carrier. It has worked perfect for me.

I also have an adapter so I can use it on the loader instead of the 3pt.

Carries a pallet mounted 275 gallon Tote cage very well. Got the tote and pallet for free, thus I was only out about $100.

You might need a hydraulic upper link to make forks work effectively. I went with the JD QA loader plates and then got the QA forks. Switch out in less than a minute. But having the loader bucket PLUS rear forks might be actually what you need.

I bought them at about $140... works for the pallets of firewood. Not sure I would buy them for the going rate at $320

I use a three-point Double-Fork Carrier from Hay King for all sorts of material and tool handling. Heck, I even use it to move round bales of hay!

Very solid and well-built. You can certainly build whatever type of bucket or platform to fit on it.

Yes ! Looking at Hay King ! Taylor only 45 minutes away from me. Long ago had a renovator from them. Was solidly built.
Did you do any modifications / make into a carry-all ? Maybe best that I build my own pallet ? What say you ?

They are great folks at Hay King. I have a small renovator and a disc harrow from them as well. Rock solid!

No modifications to the actual carrier, but I did build a wooden platform for a 200 gallon water tank that I tote around to water trees. The platform is just 2x4 and 4x4 designed so that the carrier tines slip under the platform that supports the water tank.

I typically use the carrier by itself for hauling cedar branches or long-handled tools or for moving long heavy objects like a tree trunk, etc.

You could easily build a sturdy wooden platform for it, kinda like a pallet, or perhaps weld on anything metal for your needs. I like the ability to "slip-on" and "slip-off" the water tank platform so that I can use the carrier for other tasks when not carrying water.

I bolted some old beat up truck boxes I got an auction for $5 to a pallet. Added some pipes to put shovels in vertically. It was my "fencing pallet" for years. Dropped at the work site & could keep using the tractor. Recently upgraded it to a job box.

I had a 3pt forklift for a bit. It was a pain to mount & couldn't lift more than the loader (forklift would lift, but 3pt wouldn't & I didn't want to risk it). Sold it for a few bucks more than I paid for it.

I have a couple of Skids I made for this purpose which are basically "pallets" but instead of pallet layered construction it's just some 4x4's for the base (I usually use either 3 or 4..) with a deck lagged to the top of them. I have one of "truck bed bench seats" the previous owner of my place I can put on one of them for hauling folks in luxury and comfort (relatively speaking.. cough..) to the lower field or the back pasture. The other I put a bunch of holders for tools on for trail and woodlot work. I chain the skid to the forks when in transit.

I like the one in the video here - that's nice! Way more finely engineered than what I did.
