So I've gotten really good at breaking things on my XJ2025H. My yard has a marshy area until it dries up in the summer heat. The grass gets really tall until then, and hides things to run into. This time I started to get stuck in the mud, so I raised the mower deck to help back out. I think I held it too long in the raise position, so now it won't lower. I can hear the whine when I briefly put it in the lift position, but it won't lower even with the tractor shut off....
Well, EAbiker1, you won't believe that I had practically the same thing to happen to me on my MT573. I was mowing with an eight foot Hardee brush mower on the edge of a small stream and like you got stuck in the mud. However, I was really stuck and had to be pulled out by a neighbor. After driving to my shop and washing all the mud off, I couldn't get either the lift or draft control lever to move. Even the remote lever on the rear fender wouldn't move and I checked the position of the bunny/turtle knob. Do you know of a safety lock that I may need to look at?
