Quality battery charger/maintainer?

I am going to try the NOCO Genius G1100 next. I leave all (17) of my batteries unattended for up to 6 months.

Saw an indipendent analisys of the Noco Genius vs the CTek and the difference in the innards are night & day in vavour of CTek.
I don't know what the price differential is where you live, but I've read of a lot o dissatisfied customers with Noco Genius.
In this as in batteries yuo get what you pay for.

I have 3 of the battery tender jrs that I have had for a few years. I have had no issues with them.

I have one CTek and three Deltran. They all work great. Used on my pickup, tractor & motorcycle. And one as a spare.

Look very closely at this, and the NOCO, I think they are the same, I just bought one and the manual and packaging are the same..And its much cheaper.

The NOCO G3500 is a 3.5 amp charger, while the HD cheapo knockoff is 1 amp.

The G1100 is 1.1 amp.. you did not look close enough.

They also come in 3.5 amp.

The battery minder with 10 year warranty I think 1510 series, I've bought 6 of 1510's and they recovered a couple batteries I thought were dead. I think better than ctek, read both pages take your choice.

I don't buy Schumacher, Century, or Harbor Freight battery chargers.
I have already had my once in a lifetime MAJOR fire.
For unattended electrical equipment, I buy the highest quality that I can find, and Schumacher, Century, or HF ain't it!

YMMV. Don't know about their chargers, but I've used the HF battery maintainers for years with no problems. 12 Volt Deluxe Battery Maintainer and Float Charger. Keep one hooked up to each of four tractors, a motor home chassis battery, and a UTV. Batteries stay topped up and never overcharge.

I am not concerned about loosing a battery with a cheap charger.
I am concerned about burning down a building!

considering i own 8 for like 10 years at this point, i think the concern is unfounded. they are pretty low amperage units, and have overload protection. I have tested this. they work fine. not alot circuitry needed for a float charger.

Not much "circuity" in a cheap Chinese toaster either.

I have been using a Battery Tender on my 1968 Impala for a few years and it has worked great. I also have a small one I use to juice the lawn tractor battery a bit during the winter, also works great. Bruce
