I've been a lurker for a while now. Decided I'd start contributing.

Is that Round Rock in Texas?
Welcome, all the same. Good way to get started.

Yea, Round Rock TX, but my land is in Belton and Academy. I'll update my info. Hoping to set the lean to posts and headers tomorrow and start on the roof Sunday.

VERY nice structure. That's more the type I feel I'm capable of handling. Some of these structures on TBN are just too large for a single person. And, I thought my land & our area was flat - that pic #2, looking out across your land - you can see tomorrow coming off in the distance.

Too large for a single person? Maybe. But not too large for the right tractor!

Leveled the ground and put a layer of road base down. Then put in the lean to posts and headers today. Plan on final adjustments for plum and square and install the ridge beam tomorrow. Hopefully even get a few rafters up. Also, my foreman wanted to make sure his picture was posted as well.

Nice touch notching our headers. I always use three bolts and prefer to double up my headers. Ideally I try to overlap the seams by using boards long enough to attach to three posts. How are you attaching your ceiling joists?

Looks like it will be a goo sized building. I like the bracing you used at big door openings.
