Kubota L4740 HST with FEL
Just got a used L4740 HST but it did not come with a top link or top link pin. I had a HARD time getting the proper length pin installed. The cylinders for the bottom links are very close to the steel plates where the pin goes. Is there a "special" Kubota pin or am I just doing something wrong?

Have you tried raising the lower lift arms? I have to hydraulically raise the lower lift arms on my B7500 to be able to insert/remove the top link pin.

I was actually able to BARELY work it by lowering the lift arms. I may just need a slightly shorter pin. I found the pin I used in the tool box on the tractor and it appears to be exactly the correct length to get the lynch pin installed. Thought mabe Kubota had a special pin or method .

Can you cut/grind some off of one or both ends to make the pin shorter?
