The rear rims are in pretty sad shape.
Anyone know an on-line wheel seller?

Try a truck tire dealer for rims that's where we get them. You could try fleet pride also.

Facebook usually has steel ones for $30-150 each or aluminum ones for more.

An example, $75 each: Log into Facebook

That’s a great start. I’d like to switch to aluminum, but then all the studs have to be switched out.
Really just need a set of 6 white steel in 9x22.5 or 8.25x22.5

AC repair coming next, then outer frame rails replaced, then replace wheels.
Still haven’t found a 12’ dump body 😂

MIGHT have just located a 12’ body. They are impossible to find not to mention non-rusted and with the right height sides, tailgate, etc.

It’s going to cost me more than I want to pay in shipping, but still even with shipping only 1/2-1/3rd the price of new.

Looks nice & clean underneath. Just surface rust.
Hits all the big requirements for me
12’ long - check
High sides and high tailgate - check
No significant rust or damage - check

Hopefully it has an air tailgate? I don’t see a handle, so I’m guessing it does.

Now just need to see if it has correct width on longsills and get shipping quote.
Maybe this it the one?!?!?

From the bit of linkage you can just see ahead of the marker light it does. Not a big deal if it doesn't, cheap tie rod hydraulic cylinder for the air, bit of linkage and you're good.

I've never seen a width other than 34" for the sills, there's are different width's?
As for shipping...any cheaper if you pick it up yourself? I can't see where it would be hard to temporarily mount the body just to transport it back, depending on the distance of course :).

If you do end up getting it, first thing you wanna do is cut that ******* lifting lug off the tailgate and weld a swivel and D ring to pick it up. I've seen too many of the solid fixed ones break.
It's got a tunnel for the lift cylinder, I think? looks like you can just see it.
Includes the cylinder mount? and cylinder?
Any chance the pump and valve could be included?
It is a nice looking body tho I'll give you that, any idea what it was mainly used for

Don't you have an Ram 5500 and a monster 5th wheel trailer that could haul it? Or is it like 3 days driving away from you?

I too thought that the rails are standard throughout all of the truck - body manufacturers.
I like an apron across the back but it looks like you found a nice body and what you wanted. 👍

Swing up, pickup a box, pickup rims and head back to PA?

Yes, I talked to the seller about 6 months ago. They are supposedly Air Flo bodies. I was all set to buy one. AR450 steel is great.

2 things I don’t like:
Have to weld cover over the floor chain drive system and modify chute on back
The manufacturers metal tags were cut off. That seemed strange. I was thinking are these bodies “hot“? 😂

Called Air Flo and they wanted mucho sheckles for their hoist.

Still considering it, though. Just don’t know how much additional work and expense is involved to make it an ordinary dump body.

It’s 1,200 miles away in South Dakota.

Here’s the listing. I still don’t see a tailgate release handle. I don’t see any linkage for one in the pictures underneath. There is a cable of some kind in one picture.

They can't tell you over the phone?
I think it's a good bet with no manual lever visible, and the strange body filler panel putting one out of reach, to think it is an air release tailgate. 👍
Hay from my perspective you've proceeded so far with a "dam the budget" this is what I want attitude. Admirable (and envious) position that in mho would be a shame to skimp on the last big piece of the picture and the primary working component of your truck. 👍
Your definently building MY dream truck!

They claim 1/4”, but I need to talk to the guys there on the ground, not the sales lady.

A new 12’ Beau Roc body installed is like 18-20K even with me doing part of the work. This is what I really want, but just don’t have the jingle for it….too many other repairs & projects going on. Trying to find a used 12 footer IS a needle in a hay stack. The 7500 may be too old to “justify” a new dump body anyway.

I think we are down to the Air Flo in New York or the black 12’ in S. Dakota from Van Der Haags.
I like the Air Flo because it’s AR450 steel, new old stock (never used) and probably a little cheaper since I can go up and get it, BUT I have to buy a hoist for it.
I like the black body because it’s not a salt body-nothing to modify, just put it on. Looks straight & clean. However, I don’t know how heavy duty it is. Seller claims 1/4” steel, but I’d bet 3/16”. Just don’t know.

I plan on being pretty rough on this. Rocks, stumps, etc. but I am pretty careful.
