Picking this up tomorrow. 14 K 7 x 16 dump. Figured it will do double duty and haul my tractor back and forth to my son's house when he needs one of my tractors. Also bought a goose neck hitch for my tractor and can haul it around the property. Been on my wish list for awhile...

I've had the 14' version for 6 or 8 years. It's a good trailer but the paint job could be better.

Kim, I've never bought a trailer with paint as a consideration. Have the wheels stayed on?? Has the suspension handled the loads?? Does the dump function work when needed?? Does it pull good?? Do the brakes work adequately for the load carried?? If these are yes, then I could care less about paint. :D

I looked at some PJ dumps and the paint or powder coat on them did not look like it was professionally applied.

Like I said, trailer has been good. Done everything I have needed it to do. Nothing has fallen off, except for some of the paint. Poorly prepped and poorly applied. I guess when it gets bad enough I'll repaint it.

I quick update , used the new trailer to haul my Kubota for the first time. Pulled fantastic. Going for a load of mulch tomorrow. Can't wait.

I have the same trailer. I have loaded it approx 30 times in the past week and was overloaded every time and it still dumps like a champ. I did load it too much a couple of times and had to scoop out some dirt to get it too lift but I am impressed. The day before yesterday we moved 15 loads of moist topsoil that were 5-6 yards each. We put the load toward the back and heap it and leave to front empty so that it is easier to lift. I was worried about the battery going dead by I think it must charge off the pickup.

The day before that we hauled and dumped 5.8 tons of gravel (scaled) with no problems.

I really like it and will probably keep it but we are looking into a dump truck as well. We are getting into moving a lot of material not just for our own projects but for hire. It is raining and we can't do anything now but we have over 200 yards of dirt to move when it dries out. That takes forever five yards at a time.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are designed to charge from the tow vehicle.

That trailer would be very useful for me too.
