Well, now that I've used the new version with auto refresh for a few days, I've decided that I REALLY don't like it. The whole process is jerkier and if several folks have posted while you're reading a thread, you totally lose your place on the list. I wish that I could go back one version of the app.

Aaaaahhhhhh I just loaded the latest latest version and that nasty auto refresh is GONE. This is a much better method of operation. Thanks!

I post at least 10-15 times a week from the droid.. and catch up often with it..

I personally use an Android phone and find browsing the forum on it to be slow and a bit of a hassle. Since iPhone was our most popular mobile platform, we started with that and yes, it works on the iPad the same.

Our developer is working on an Android app as well and expects it to be done by the end of fall.

I was about ready to download the Droid TBN app and it was flagged with requiring granting risky control to the app. Like control over my phone's camera and other security sensitive controls. I bailed on the download because of this. Can you or maybe have the developer explain the need for controlling my phone in order to run the app?

Do you want to be able to post photos? If so the app has to interact with (control) your phone camera etc.

While it seems reasonable to grant permission to an app to be able to Post images, wish I had a choice to have that feature or not.. I post images from my PC and I always run them through photoshop first cuz I'm picky what I post images-wise. Doubt I would want to post images from the phone. But maybe I will reconsider.

Who is the developer and how would I get a hold of them? I would like to suggest making another app for another forum and would be interested in the cost of something like this if you didn't mind sharing?

I really like how you can easily upload photos right from the phone.

I mainly use the IPhone app for my TBN fix. It is handy, I like it BUT - I wish it had more features / options such as:

1. Profiles - it doesn't list any info for the person. Only allows you to search for posts / started threads. Plus it always shows the person "offline" (including me when I tap my profile). I lose so much without the ability to see someone's location or other info.

2. Search for who is online. - same as above. If there are not online - they don't show up (good), but when you open the profile - says offline.

3. Signatures. Even though I have signatures on, I don't see any body's tag line. Now most of the times- I wouldn't want all of that info, but it would be great to be able to if I wanted.

Otherwise, great product!!

One other item that I still have problems with - sometimes when viewing the pictures the app will lock up. I am sure it's because of a memory issue. Would be great it the developer could somehow resize the pics...

It's a very good app, minor tweaking could make this a great app!!

Since the last update I have not had the freeze up issue when viewing pictures. I did upgrade do an iPhone 4s about the same time as the update so I am not sure if it was the update or the phone.

I am running the latest update, but haven't got the iPhone 4s yet - so must be the 4s that is the key.

Work provides my phone, and my new one has been ordered - so it sounds like that this problem will be solved soon.

I remember when I had the 3g - this app would lockup constantly. The 3gs is better... But locks up enough to be annoying. Thanks for sharing.

I just tried to post a link of this thread to another iPhone thread that Czech... started. I either can't, or don't know how (using the iPhone app) to do this. Any ideas if this is possible?
