I'm in the process of obtaining quotes for a new shop building. I'm looking at a 40 X 60 and have been going back and forth with myself on height and materials.
I've gotten a quote from BCI Barn for a 40x60x12 with 2 16'x10' garage door openings (no doors), 1 walk in door and 4 windows; insulated under roof and walls. They came back with $17,500.00 erected. I'd still need to buy doors and have the floor poured.
I got another quote for a "TopLine Building" which is all steel 40x60x14 with one insulated 16x10 door with opener, one 10x10 door with no opener, one 3 x 7 walk in door, 4" of insulation under roof and all walls, with a 6" concrete floor w'/ rebar 2' O.C. for right around $30,000.00. They spec'd it at a 1-12 pitch on the roof, but I'm going to have them re-quote with a 2-12 pitch with poly-butyl mastic on roofing seams, a 16x12 door with opener and wainscotting.
Once I price doors, concrete, etc for the pole barn it sounds like the all steel is the way to go.
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of "TopLine Buildings" products?
I'm looking for any inputs that might help me decide between these two. I'm still waiting on some quotes from other outfits.
I look forward to reading your inputs/suggestions.
