Grabbed some more wood for the Peterson sawmill, pine and oak
Little deere never ceases to amaze me.

Going to be restricted from lifting For the next six weeks so I had to go grab this from the scrap yard. I need a little cordwood saw to restore to put on the back of the Jeep

Looks like blade was maintained by KWS, Doesn’t appear that they’re still in business

I will likely make a carry-all/deck that i will use the forks to pick.

Consider building a see through slatted backrest for it. Maybe vertical flat bar looking through the “edge”.

I do have some bed frame angle that would work
Likely I won稚 use it as fork machine
A carry deck is more the goal. That would be more useful.
I will be out of commission for 6wks so for now it is all just a dream

I think there was a setup for scouts and obviously jeep.
I always liked Farm Jeeps and there is plenty of research online.
The CJ5 setup is (nearly to the inch) the same size as neighbor rtv1100.
It is funny to see the next to each other. Nearly 60 years between the UTVs.

Love that 3pt on the rear of that jeep. Any chance of PTO to run a mower?

I have a gearbox for front pto also, just not installed yet

Before I add it, I have to make a decision about a tranny swap. Have another transmission with overdrive/splitter. In order to get the PTOs to work on this it requires an adapter and some changing around of the driveshaft lengths. I haven’t made a decision about overdrive or not so I’m holding off on adding the front PTO at this point.

Are you sending that nice oak to a kiln to dry? Or just air drying it. I have some ash and 2 nice white pine set aside to go to a sawmill. Last time I air dried white pine and cedar in an enclosed pole barn. Jon

That's a nice piece of wood. will it warp while drying? Will you put more support pieces in between your nice beams?
