The Hurricane 6 intrigues me. If I lived at high altitude, then I’d be highly tempted to go turbo. To some degree I think the spec sheet hp is pointless when you consider the torque management systems limit the engine.
My wife has a 2022 Ram 5.7 Hemi
I have a 2018 Ram 2500 Cummins
My daily is a 2001 Ram 1500 5.2 5-speed
I prefer driving my 2001 the most, and the weak old 5.2 magnum will trounce the newer more powerful trucks in a burnout contest, brake slide contest, donut spinning and off-road stupidity.
Obviously my 2018 tows amazingly. My wife’s 2022 constantly nags me for not being perfectly in the center of my lane, or getting too close to objects, etc. It’s truly a wife’s truck. It just won’t ever STFU and do what I want.
So me personally, I don’t like the complexity or nanny features on new vehicles. I briefly considered upgrading my 2018 Cummins, and an inmate here reminded me about the modern nanny features. It made up my mind real quick.
