Good Evenin Guys,
Not too much to report on at this point, other than some trim work going up !

I believe some windows went in today, then the entry doors, and hopefully the garage doors will go in within the next week or so....

So just some trim pics on the overhangs, and some bonus shots of Kathleens perenial garden ! ;):)

BTW the upstairs room is really quite large, and I think it will work out well for what we have planned !

Wooo Hoooo Scotty, looks good. The perenial garden is nice too. Used to have a similar rock-walled garden. The chipmunks had to be thinned out now and then, but it is hard to beat the look of natural stone once it has been out in the weather for a few years.

So, your upper level looks to be about 10' wide, that is useful space. When you get older and bored you can paint a shuffleboard court on it :D Those look like nice trusses too.

Dave.

Good Afternoon Jay, Eddie and Jim,
Thanks for the comments !

I have some updated door and window shots, and other than the back stairs and the garage doors needing the install we are just about there for this year, since the money has run out and actually I still need to come up with a few thousand ! :(

But on the bright side Im very pleased with the way it came out and its overall appearance ! ;):)

Anybody have any exterior lighting suggestions for the front side with the garage doors ?

Maybe a double flood light fixture between the overhead doors and single above the man door? I would consider putting a light switch outside next to your man door. If you go out to your building in the dark, flip the light on, then get the door open.

That's a really nice shop/garage building you built. Have you considered a recessed style pot light in the soffit across the front, they would give a nice even amount of light across the entire front and they would also help illuminate the face of the building, you dont want hide those good looks.

Great looking shop/garage. I like the big windows in the attic, that should allow plenty of light in.

All your pictures make me homesick for Vermont. Grew up there, but migrated to Idaho for a midlife crisis. Who knows, maybe someday I'll return. Very nice shop.

Love the Vermont country life but not so crazy about the politics (not the place though).

That is one of reasons I moved to Idaho. Better hunting and fishing, and more responsible state government. Idaho's wildlife has not been tamed and the biking is amazing. Bigger mountains and rivers.

Holy mackerel Scotty, I missed TBN a while and now you're done with your barn!
Wow, you sure knocked out the progress quickly. It is truly a great looking barn.
Congratulations man!
