You're going to love having a rear pull snowblower. It's perfect for your long drives. I think 84" will be okay most of the time. If you get heavy/deep snow, you may have top go a little slow on your first pass. On subsequent passes, you can take a partial width if necessary. I have a M K Martin 68" rear pull, and I love it. I had a conventional 3pt snowblower before that, and I can do the same work in 1/2 the time.

Here it is in action.

I would be willing to bet that the vibration is from the 2 different angles on the pto shaft's U-joints when it's raised up. Either live with it, or get a CV (Constant Velocity) jointed pto shaft with the CV joint put at the tractor end. Your tractor's transmission will appreciate the investment .
Where would one get one of these atatchments? I’ll try lowering the blower closer to the ground and running it to see if the shake goes away. I was freaking out thinking my 11k dollar snowblower was a lemon!

The whole blower looks like it’s rocking side to side when it’s running. But I’ll check in the am

It's important that PTOs are in phase. Most modern PTO shafts can only go together one way. Extreme angle can also cause vibration. You may have different vertically spaced holes for your 3pt connections. The closer to parallel, the happier everything is. Finally be sure your PTO shaft isn't so long that it bottoms our ti the (extreme) raised position.

Got the blower hitched up and mounted. Turned it on and spun it up. There’s a decent shake to it when it’s off the ground running at rpm. Is that normal?
The shake is due to the impeller not being balanced on a high speed balancer
and having weights welded to the impeller paddle sleeve weldment to counteract
the imbalance created by the centrifugal force created by spinning the impeller.
I had the same issues with the 42 inch snow blower on my john deere lawn tractor.

The whole tractor rocks side to side when things going anytime I lift it off the ground. It’s seriously annoying.

I suspect the blower will settle down while blowing snow, but your description sounds more on the severe side. My blower will shake slightly when raised or when first powered up, but it doesn't shake the tractor to any noticable extent.
I think you should have the selling dealer look at it.

Are the lower links tightened up to prevent swaying???

Start with the gear box and check to assure the hold down bolts are tight; if not, they need
to be torqued to the proper tension after the application of blue loctite.

Check the open bearing housing in the rear of the snow blower that supports the impeller
shaft to make sure it is also tightened on the inner race of the bearing as well.

Last but not least is impeller for balancing.

One of the other members had a bushel of trouble with his rear pull snow blower and
they replaced it if I remember what happened correctly.

Before you do anything have the dealer pick it up to cover your end of things as it is VERY,
VERY, VERY, likely it is a problem with the snowblower NOT YOU. BE SURE TO TAKE A VIDEO OF THE SHAKE
RATTLE AND ROLL to cover yourself AS THE SNOW BLOWER SHOULD NOT DO THIS.

The thing is the PTO connection from the mule to the snow blower is a linear connection to the implement with
universal joints that are 90 degrees opposed and operate correctly as long as the PTO shaft inner and outer sleeves
are cut to the proper length to prevent the possibility of breaking the gearbox of the snow blower and breaking
the very expensive male PTO shaft housing and bearings in your mules final drive train to the power take off shaft.

I would ask for a refund of your money and order a Pronovost rear pull snow blower if you really have to have one.

They will try to accuse you of having buyers remorse; do not fall into that trap and ask for a refund of your money
as the machine should not be swaying like this if the unit was properly balanced.

Snowblower running

Click this link to a video I uploaded to YouTube of it running. Volume up. You can hear it quite well and see the washer fluid in the tractor tank shaking badly.

To me, that looks normal/typical.

That's not at all like I imagined from the description. That amount of movement is typical of any snowblower I have used over the years.
I wouldn't worry about it.

Okay. I’m going to have my wife. Video it from the back. The whole thing shakes side to side and shakes the tractor with it.

Just watched your video, with the blower almost on the ground it seemed to have minimal bouncing around.
As you lifted it, it seemed to increase which would point towards u joint angles. Have you tried shortening and/or lengthening the toplink?

For now all you can do is extend the lower links fully to negate the shake
and reduce the drive line angle of power transmission UNLESS you invest in
a PTO shaft with dual constant velocity universal joints.

They need to redesign the power transmission on this snow blower and use
a roller chain drive or a 3 spur gear gear box to maintain a near horizontal
driveline angle.

I don't know what to make of your video. There is some vibration, but it doesn't seem excessive. It might look more extreme in person. Part of what is making washer fluid waves is the raising and lowering action. You have nothing to lose by talking with your dealer. Finally, I never raise my PTO implements that high.

Snowblower rocking from the rear

Here is a better video. Maybe it doesn’t look bad but it shakes the whole cab and tractor and I’m wobbling around in my seat. It would get old reallllly fast. I e watched all sorts of videos of guys running these and it never looks like that.

Call your dealer and tell them the impeller is not balanced and
creating so much centrifugal force it is causing the tractor and
the snow blower both to shake.

ALSO the noise you hear when you throttle up should not be there.

You should hear nothing more than the noise from the cross auger
rotating and the sound of the air blowing through the chute.

I am sorry you bought this thing.

Poor quality control and the lack of testing the snowblower by
kubota AND the dealer has led to this.

Ask for your money back and order a Pronovost or Lorenz rear
pull snow blower as they will most likely tell you that its normal
and I will tell you it is not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't agree. The shaking is the same or less than any snow blower I have ever owned.
