Kubota B7800

Hello and Happy Fathers Day. My Kubota B7800 has been a great little tractor. it is just now starting to show signs of wear and tear and I cannot go in reverse without pulling up on the brake handle located under the steering wheel. Is there an adjustment I can name to correct this problem?

Both cruise control and brake are tied into the HST mechanism via linkages. You probably need to lubricate everything down there, especially if it hasn't been done before. I had to lube that stuff on my B at least once a year or things would stick.

The black cover under the dash seems to be drooping. When I need to reverse, instead of it being instant I need to hold the brake handle up before the reverse control pedal releases. Everything works it is just an inconvenience for me if I am going from forward to reverse while working the ground. Slows me up considerably.
