I just got carded

Don't feel bad. I"m 84 and look it and got carded buying a jug of schnapps. I had heard about the paint one. I think it also has something to do with tagging as well as huffing.

Yea, here in WA the liquor laws actually require carding of all liquor sales regardless of perceived age. Universally ignored till an inspector shows up. When it happens, you know the establishment just got busted and is on probation.

It isn't law here, yet many places do that by policy. They even need to scan your driver's license before making the sale.

A guy in front of me the other day in Rite Aid bought a pack of smokes, probably in his 70's, they carded him...

Yes - like Thomas said, "over 60 and it kind of makes you feel good". That was until they told me that "Everybody - regardless of age - was carded". I haven't looked under 21 for - at least - a couple years. I'm 77.

I guess they don't care around here, I buy paint, brake clean, carb cleaner, they never card me.. I don't drink or smoke so my license is pretty well glued inside my wallet...

I haven't bought cigarettes in nearly 40 years; a guy in front of me at the grocery store bought a carton; the checker rang up $58.00. That should dissuade a lot of those under 21.

The carding on spray paint was implemented to stop the heathens millennials were turning loose on society so they could use spray paint to express themselves by spraying graffiti on public and private building, school busses, bridges and overpasses etc.

I don稚 know if it was the 釘leeding Heart Liberals or the alleged 鼎hristian Conservatives? but who ever it was I think it is a good idea. Anything to keep tax payer dollars being spent to clean up the messes being made by the heathens turned loose on society.

They do not use carb cleaner etc., etc...for graffiti...

I was in MA the other day, saw a cigarette sign, $10.00 a pack, crazy...

A carton of Marlboro's is $74 here. It must be - OK is closer to the tobacco fields that here in WA. Glad I don't smoke either.

That's why so many, who do smoke, make the trip to the indian reservation where cigs are less than half that price. No state or federal taxes.

I almost had heart failure seeing Virginia on the map!!!!! Then I read the fine print "northern Virginia" which makes sense.
