Hello all! Back in 2019, I came here for help on choosing a tractor for my newly acquired land. Everyone was very helpful, and we landed on a 2020 Kubota L4701HST with a LA765 FEL. Implements are a box blade, 6' Land Pride Rotary Cutter, grapple and a set of 2k pallet forks. I recently added a Woodland Mills WC68 chipper. As a first time tractor owner, it was so much fun and I've gotten a lot of great use out of it. We're on 15 acres, about 50/50 woods and pasture. I have a wild life exemption on the land, so it's mainly used to mow when it's not baled by a neighbor, tackle downed trees, spread gravel on our driveway, and various other tasks.
We just purchased 11 more acres, this is more like 70/30 woods to fields. More trees to take care of and some trails to maintain.
I'm leaning towards a Grand L6060. It looks to be around $61k new from a local dealer. I did find a 2023 50th Anniversary Edition with 260 hrs for $46.5k.
I'd like to stay in the Kubota family since the local dealers are great, and it's now what I'm familiar with.
I didn't think I would need the size and weight of the MX series. Open to any and all suggestions. Thank you!
