Help! Grease Coupler won't fit

I have a Kubota U25 Mini with a Thumb, and use a Lincoln Air Gun to grease it. Everything is fine except for 1 fitting on the thumb. The grease coupler is too big to fit in the hole that the Zerk is recessed in. I went to tractor supply and a few other places to see if I could find a "thinner" Grease Coupler, but I was unable to. Any ideas?

Grind down the coupler so it'll be smaller and fit.

Get a grease needle adapter... it will screw on the grease fitting on the gun...

I didnt know those Grease needles would work. I will give that a try. Thanks.

Nipple and a coupling will bring the fitting out closer unless movement closes off the hole in question. A picture would help on ideas.

adding to. you may need to physical move the backhoe to access a zerk.

TIP: twist greese gun end say approx 1/2 a turn if will not fit on or will not come off.
