I have grease gun--nothing fancy just a manual lincoln grease gun. The coupler is stuck--I can't turn it to make it tighter or looser. I have tried putting it in a vice and using plyers with no luck. Any ideas on how to get it unstuck? Do I just need to buy a new coupler?

Lay it on something solid and smack all the way around the collar area.

Have you replaced it recently? Some of the new, cheap ones don't turn.

Problem I've found with the LNL is the barrel is to big to access recessed fittings.
They have several types now, one specifically for recessed fittings.
