Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I have been lurking for several months. I stumbled on the site one night at work when things were slow and I was surfing the net trying to stay awake. I spent 20 years as a diesel mechanic in a garage working for truck leasing companies. In 1990 the industry was in bad shape and the company decided to lay off the oldest two mechanics because we had the most benefits and they could no longer afford us. It was we are sorry, and oh by the way here is your 20 year pin. after 4 months I was able to get a job at the County Jail as a Corrections Officer. Four months later I was Deputized,completed 680 hours of training, and have been employed at the Jail for almost 20 yrs. I work third shift by myself in the only corrections facility in a small county in southeastern Ohio. My wife and I live on the remaining 106 acres of the farm she grew up on. I am using the 901 Ford her father bought new in 1960, I also sometimes use the Homelite Suoer XL 25 he purchased the same day. Thank God for the Amish saw shop. they keep it running. I look forward to the seemingly supply of information available from the good people on this site
