Grapples in stock?

So why is significantly less expensive to buy an EA grapple or snow plow and ship it from back east than to buy from and pick up at ANBO who is only 100 miles from my location in Idaho?? Reputation and quality seem to be comparable.

We ship to the West Coast every day and people are generally amazed at the rates I can come up with!!

The other day, a customer told us he had an Anbo grapple ordered and couldn't get them to return his calls. Their website isn't working either. :confused3:

Ted - you are correct. I just tried( 12/14/18 @ 5:00AM - PST ) several listed ANBO access pages. The message received - either - "Sorry, the info requested from this site is not currently available" OR "This site has been suspended". I hope something serious is not afoot.

This is Travis, but the sig has always said Ted.

It didn't sound good for Anbo from what the guy was saying.
He was going to look into getting the money back from his CC company.

Well Travis - I guess you can never tell. ANBO is only 70 miles due north of me - up in Colville. I've been to their facility three times and things alway looked good. But, then agian, I'm not an expert at determining how prosperous any company might be. I know they put out a darn fine product.

AND BTW - I've seen two samples of your grapples - I would say they sure appear and WORK as a superior product. You have every right to boast on your grapples.

Who knows. Maybe they are on early Christmas hiatus or something! :santahat::eek:rnament::present::holidaylight:

I try not to boast, but I do love to tell people about the advantages of choosing a Wicked Grapple!
Thanks for the kind words, oosik!

I wound up buying a grapple from MTL attachments like October 30. I had it the first week of November. I致e been extremely happy with it. It was like $1000 bucks delivered. I mean, even if I destroy it and buy a second one, it値l still be cheaper. I致e given a thorough workout so far and have ZERO complaints. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I also picked up a set of 4K pound pallet forks for an additional $500.

$1500, delivered, got me a nice grapple and great set of forks in under a week. I知 sure EA grapples are nice, but it wasn稚 meant to be on this time around.

Grapple in action.

As a neat side note, this was made by and shipped from Loflin Fabrication which is right down the road from me in Denton NC. Greg and Terry are the owners and are super nice guys. I almost took a job with them but we just couldn稚 get together on the numbers.

I just ordered the same MTL grapple, I ordered a 66 inch. I plan to get pallet forks but will wait a while and get my grapple hooked up. Have to figure out my third funtion. For my weekend stuff I am betting the MTL will do fine. If I used one everyday for a living, might do something else.

Just picked up my LP SGC1572 (same version as Oosik, just a bit wider) yesterday. Taking it up to the property tomorrow. These are designed for Skid Steers, so they are super strong and reinforced. I went with the LP over EA because cost was same but I could get it in 2 weeks instead of 2 months. From the looks it should be an outstanding front implement. My only concern which I can see Oosik fixed with a bungee is the hoses. I will have to be careful when QA attaching (not to hit them) and find a good place to keep them out of the way.
Of note, this is a very heavy grapple. Mine weighs 900-1000 lbs. So consider the weight in your FEL lift calculations.

I also the LP SGC1572 on my Kubota MX

Great grapple

OK - youse guys - a note of caution here with your new LP grapples - especially you Jchonline. So far, you have no experience with this unit. These grapples are truly the heavy duty kind. The design and construction make the unit almost completely indestructible. Lord knows - I've sure been putting mine to the test for the last 4 1/2 years.

The caution I see, in advising you two - while the grapple is almost indestructible - it is probably stronger than some of the components making up my/your FEL.

So be a tad careful and use caution with the grapple until you become completely familiar with its use. There is no joy to be found in having a great heavy duty grapple and an FEL with a damaged part.

As big and heavy as my M6040 is ( 10,100 pounds ) the grapple adds to that feeling of indestructibility.

Mine is so completely universal in its use - I have found no reason to put the bucket back on the FEL. That's been 4 1/2 years ago.

Have fun grappling guys and because you are, like me, probably using some activation control like my WR Long - try - with practice - to not crush everything you grapple

In the BEEEG city - Spokane. There is a company - House of Hose - that specializes in everything dealing with hydraulics. I saw the stuff used on a front mounted rotary mower used by a local contractor. He had it on his hoses because so much crap came flying out from under that forward mounted mower.

So - fat, dumb and happy I go to the House of Hose. Land 'O Goshen - they had at least a dozen different sizes, types and diameters and in four or five colors to boot. So I nose around - sneak out and go to the Kubota dealer to find out what size the hose is on my tractor. They had white, green, red and black. No Kubota orange - so I chose black.

View attachment 582661View attachment 582662 I got 35 feet and, as I remember, it was $1.20 a foot. This is what was left. I've bent it and tried to get a good end shot. As you can see on the end shot - its awfully heavy walled.
I went with fire hose for protection and a spring stick for holding the hoses up. $40 total. 20181129_102250.jpeg20181129_102258.jpeg

So the MTL grapple (made by Loflin) shipped with chafe protection on the hoses already. I was also glad to see that they use Parker hose and fittings. Just throwing it out there in case anyone was wondering.

Had a busy day with mine. Had to drop a couple large trees the other week. Got those all cleaned up as the snow was melting today. Also had to rip out 700’ of old fencing today. The Mrs. bought a haflinger so I need to get some new fencing up for the bugger.

Sorrr for the terrible picture, but I did not finish until way after dark.

In all its muddy glory. - Album on Imgur
