2nd pic is old grist mill. Nice level spot. Only downside is it’s next to PA turnpike, very noisy. Very scenic drive up.

Good afternoon for leave control little over 1/3 done.
Tax appraiser show up 1pm nice young man,he did some looking writing I ask how much do think my taxes will go up,he reply 2%-4% some residents will see around 10% .
He ask couple times where the bear Boo was,I said you have nothing to worry about long as you don't get out of your car Boo was 60'+ looking from behind a BIG pine laying down.

Plans for the evening...feet up watch numb it movie until the eye lids get heavy.

Thomas, I guess your tax assessor is afraid of bears. This is a good thing.

Good (Saturday) morning. Overnight Low of -0.1C and it's presently warmed up to 18.0C, clear and calm.

Yesterday I went out to my workshop and correctly 'guessed' where the tap valves were. I then went back into town and changed both tap valves (always change both, eh?)... yes, the hot water valve was shot. Both were the 'inexpensive', shall we say, plastic valves which I replaced with good metal (brass?) ones. All in all a 10 minute job.

I'm tempted today to fire up the string trimmer and take a wander around the house. The first mow of the season is looming.
