55°F and some spotty fog this morning, going up to 75° today.

We get a reprieve from the rain today, and maybe tomorrow, before the next tropical depression gets to us this weekend.

Today is my Friday, as I took off the next two days. Going to try to get some mowing done before everything gets wet again.

That's why amplifiers have a volume knob, Kyle ... don't have to use all 350 watts. It'll be running through an Ampeg SVT-610 speaker cabinet, so plenty of presence on stage. We'll have a decent PA system, so it's really only a stage monitor. The speaker cab is the original 610 prototype built by the engineering team when I worked there (2001, I believe, is when that design came out). I was asked to "take it out for an extended field test," which was St Louis Music code for take this home and make sure it doesn't come back. I acquired a ton of music equipment in my 10 years there.

I'm stopping at a WinCo in Indio before I get there, looking for fresh fruit,
think I might turn on gen and a/c
and let that run for last part of trip, try to cool down inside of rv.
I asked them for a shaded spot, not sure they have any

not a long drive today, straight out 80, would really like to leave this heavy traffic behind

Wife reminded me when we first visited Indio she noticed the tall Date Palm trees

Stopped at this lumber store that sells everything made of wood you would ever need. Siding, doors, cabinets, furniture, etc.

Got quote on prefinished wood for porch ceiling. Wood is cheap, clearcoat exterior stain finishing cost twice the wood cost. Shipping costs almost same as wood cost.

Very surprised with WinCo store in Indio. Half Costco bulk, half equivalent to Walmart
supermarket. Chopped fruit wasn't as fresh as it looked... my sister's super fresh stuff she gets, so much better tasting. But I got some blueberries to eat with vanilla yogurt for desert.

sure not cooking any pie in this rv until I get someplace cooler.
I think I'll bring it with me to Ted's house and we can bake it there and have it for dessert. BYOD

thankfully office is 100 feet away and so is swimming pool.
if I go in will I be dry by the time I get back? not if I'm sweating....
two folks were in it earlier, might put my big hat on and a bathing suit and amble over
to the resort side of this place aka swimming pool.

Got some shop time in and started fitting the rear legs ! Tough trying to get the width of the dado just right ! A couple are a titch to loose and one left leg came out quite good ! I will have to come up with a fix for the two that are slightly loose !

Another two years or so I might have a couple of rockers !

Drew, East of Phoenix is a much colder area. I have been to Springerville AZ for work near the Apache reservation. Weather says it is about 80 tomorrow because of higher elevation.

Good evening all. 63ºF for the start, overcast, light breeze. Light wind, moderate to brisk gusts, Sky clear up about noon, and high temp was 82ºF. Made coffee to start day, Men's Meeting, weekend trip prep, bike ride, town trip for lunch, meds, and groceries. Riding buddy made surprise visit right when I got home had nice visit, nap dinner with group. No mowing today. Got notice two of the 3# cans of Kirkland decaf I was going to return are not to be returned. Damage to both cans caused coffee to leak out, is some way to store it to minimize coffee drying out?
RNG amazing the Norton still drips after years of no oil. Beautiful machine!
Ron glad good visit with Dennis and wife. Sorry son gone so soon, have fun dog sitting. Cute little woodpecker.

Coffee is brewing. 55° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 74° with some clouds. Did a couple of small projects in shop. Then walked the dogs. Got a nap in afternoon. Need a conserve energy day today. But grass needs mowing. Will see how that works out after grocery shopping today.
