errands done, lot of running around...
went to River, passing all kinds of boats and cars being pulled out of shoreline homes and brought inland far enough to get on a higher spot of lane.
Happens every hurricane here.
ok, two generators delivered, one Cub Cadet brought home safely, going to sharpen blades on that and give it a good lube job.
Friend's lot is very sandy, has its own little beach, and it beats the heck out of the deck and gauge wheels.
nothing like turning a wheel and hearing gritch gritch gritch. That won't end well...blades only last one season.
Deck is actually heavy duty fab, with thicker metal, so it should hold up fine.
Operating that mower is not much fun, no power steering and the steering wheel is too small, looks neat, but
in reality doesn't work well, steering is too fast without power assist.
Hydro which was a must, and a 46 deck with a 23hp Kawasaki twin, too much motor
for that deck but that was the deal. Last of the Kawasakis before CC started using other brands, of course less expensive.
Have to be careful stepping on the pedal, at mowing speed it absolutely leaps forward. I think we are at 37 hours now after three years.

definitely a mower that will not come with me after I move some day.
This afternoon will be collecting tarps, bungeeing those that stay attached, taking down flags and all the loose stuff. Lot of hanging plants to protect.
Then I need to check the chain saws, make sure they start, tighten the inevitably loose chain, slop bar oil where I shouldn't, and then I'll be ready.
My Echos always start.
