Good Morning Everyone!!!

I hope that everyone is having a decent Labor Day and those potentially threatened by Hurricane Dorian remain out of harm’s way; safe and sound.

Pre-frontal early morning showers with a humid, overcast 57ºF for today’s low temp; conditions unchanged and 62ºF presently; and Doppler radar is reflecting the approaching cold front with rain and possible T-storms with temperature reaching the mid to high 60ºF’s later today. I am still feeling the “heat” from last night’s (brined) smoked Buffalo-style chicken wings; not exactly health food.

RonJH- Special thoughts, wishes, and prayers for you. I hope today’s activities go well.

Randy and BEF- I hope that you both continue to gain in strength, endurance, and mobility.

Larro Darro- Thanks for sharing your pictures. A disorganized mass of clouds currently in the eastern GOM may develop into a tropical depression in the southwestern GOM later this week.

Labor Day - this year sure is racing by.

Vet appointment in town for the 3 furry kids this morning. Semi annual, shots update etc.

I like my outdoor powered wheel chair, i named it Ranger..

Who knew Polaris made a powered wheel chair.

Unclogged the sevin sprayer, easy now that i know the straw pulls out. Has filter on end of straw. Sevin makes a film that clogs it good. Took power wheelchair outside and sprayed bag worms. They destroyed a bush in front of house already. Then it clogged again, and had to clean again.

Son grilled burgers for lunch. Today is usually my big labor day picnic that ive done for over 20 yrs. Usually 30-50 people. Not this year. My not do them after this.

Now see if i can get son to help change oil in subaru.

Still sunny, some clouds. Calling for rain later.

Got oil changed in subaru. I slid under and drained oil. Plug came out with socket this time, last time it was tight and i had to use impact. Kinda missed pan again at first and made another mess. New oil plug from amazon was correct one. Old plug starting to round off, and didnt want to start that thread again. Lol
Then son did the rest.

Got a shower before little storm hit. Kind of fizzled before it got here, just light rain.

I understand the weakness in walking. I can stand, turn around, then im ready to sit. Still very weak in the legs.


Im like a toddler at that first able to stand phase, but no coordination to walk but a couple steps then go down. Except i dont want to go down, too old for that part.

I understand completely.

Another gorgeous day on Delmarva, went to visit mom, took a nice ride in the country and came home to tuna steaks and corn on the cob. Sitting on my deck in perfect weather.

Looks like most had a nice Labor Day.
Buppies, safe travels, BEF you’re doing a lot for a guy that can’t walk, don’t over do it.

Ron, all I can tell you is it does get easier, there is no time frame and nobody knows exactly how you feel but you. Move at your pace, God bless.

65F light rain falling.
Been a soggy day,both kittens help cleaning sweeping basement.
Hard to believe Sept has arrive soon autumn will be here,as Mrs. would say the last 4 months of the year ends in berrrrrrrr.
