Good morning all.
Yesterday I thought I would sharpen the topper blades that had been damaged by the kamikaze rock. Parked the skids of the topper on 4 jacks, got out the breaker bar and put on a 30 mm socket, then went to the tool cabinet to get out my 30 mm spanner (aka wrench) to keep the bolt head from spinning. It wasn't there, not too surprising as it is one of the most common sizes in agricultural use, with 30 mm nuts being used on every gate hinge. Thought I must have left it in the tool bag I carry around with my fencing tools. Nope, neither was it in any of the other places I searched for the rest of the morning. My wife gave me her usual (and generally effective) "think, where did you last have it" speech, but to no avail. :confused3:
After lunch it was time for desperate measures, if only to preserve what was left of my sanity. I was about to sort through the scrap pile to make a temporary spanner, then had second thoughts and went fishing instead
Drew, good to hear the equipment you won't be needing is selling so easily. Is there any machinery you wouldn't want to part with, when it comes time for the next move ?
