Not doing well this morning.
Was checking air in truck and trailer yesterday, bent over, and something let loose in my lower back near where I already had a disc removed at L5. That ended the day promptly, got into hot tub, that helped, but still very sore and twingy this morning. All wrapped up in back brace and really will behave myself today. Yesterday I mowed the fields, mowed the lawn, and maybe just bounced around too much. Plus I picked up the equalizing hitch for the truck and that didn't feel good at all. I started having back problems almost thirty years ago. Been lucky recently, more focused on other things that don't work...but reminders like this tell me maybe I should just pay that guy to do the hard work on my property, so I can do the "fun" stuff. Am also reminded that Larro's Ponce De Leon Fountain of Youth spa is not open yet. C'mon Larro, bunch of us waiting to get in.
I really enjoyed mowing with the Massey yesterday. Totally different sound, loud diesel bark sounds like a "real" farm tractor, not like my civilized Kubota. Though hopefully when the new low mount muffler comes in the noise level will go down a little. Still stiff shifting and hard moving pto lever. often have to let out clutch slightly to get things aligned. Moving steering wheel does nothing. Tractor only has 175 hours on it now, but surprised it hasn't loosened up a bit more.
