I was able to get one side of the bridges railings done. I miscalculated the amount of boards I was going to need so I had to mill up more boards. Which I now have to wait until they dry out a bit. Anyway, here are some pics. The first two pics are before I stained them, the second 2 pics are with the 50/50 used oil and diesel mix.

Thanks for all the replies. I didn’t want to just put up run of the mill balusters to support the handrails. I was looking for something functional and had some character. Also, the wife wanted something to keep the grandkids from falling off. This is what I came up with.
