Welded the Moldboard brace pieces on today. Would post some pics but there picture attaching method is not working right now. I will try again a little later.

Congrats on the newborn and that is a nice looking blade also! For those of you that want to make a blade, a friend of mine who works at a natural gas pipe line pumping station made his out of some large diameter heavy walled pipe, this would work well if you can find the proper pipe and do not have access to a machine shop.LUTT

Welded up everything today except for the spring return mechanism. I ordered the springs today so I should get them within a couple days.

The picture taken from the rear of the tractor shows that when the blade is angled it still clears the tractor width by a good 3 inches.

What type of welder are you using and at what amperage?

Can't help but notice that those beads look a little on the cold side. Not trying to pick a fight.

Blade looks great!

Have you decided on the paint type and color ?
