OK, here is the front-mounted subsoiler setup on the machine. Please keep in mind, this is an experimental Skunk Works project. I didn't (and still don't) know if it's going to work exactly like I want it to. I've used it, and it works, but still doesn't have the reach I was hoping for. It's not that much better than the pallet forks for turning the compost pile.

What I really need to do is just set the compost pile up so I can reach both sides.

And here are a couple of pics of a dolly I made for the subsoiler out of an old lawn cart frame:

NOTE: The author in NO WAY endorses operating tractors with ROPS in lowered position, especially when using strange, experimental attachments on the loader.

I’ve adapted all my implements as well. This was my last one. Quick little job with some scrap on the mill. Made it quick hitch compatible and corrected the top link geometry.

Love it! Simple, works great and looks good. Excellent.

Thanks , my tiller and others were a little easier. Cut 3/8 drop plates and used the dual pin holes the other implements have to attach the plates. Just had to drill matching holes , no geometry re work. I like my mods to be reversible incase I ever had to sell them.

I have a quick hitch adapted to my loader that I use for things like my trailer mover and my boom pole. I would be a little hesitant to use it for ground engaging implements for fear of overloading the loader arms.

Totally agree. I have/would only use the rake, rear blade or subsoiler on the loader for loose and light material, such as the compost pile.

Yeah I’ve been seeing people making rippers for the front of their tractors now. Risky risky unless you are just using it as a pick with the hydraulics. I’ve been curious to try a skid steer style land plane on the front to see how it would do.
