Balancing trailer tires

I have a set of those on my F-350. Worst $200 I ever spent. Anitfreeze works just as well and is easier to install.

Every once in a while, I'll get a horrible shimmy or vibration out of my front tires. Can barely drive over 40 mph or so. Get to the store or whatever, let it sit for a while, get back in it and no vibration no shimmy, smooth as a babies butt. Only thing it could be is the dampening media clumping up or not flowing like it should.

Yeah that's true for every vehicle made I think. Do a google search with your favorite brand or model and "death wobble". Jeep, Ford, Chevy, GM, Ram, Silverado, F250, etc etc etc.

I think it's a straight axle thing or so they say, but I had 2 1978 ford f-150's and 2 80's model Chevrolet's 4x4 with straight axles and none of the four of them ever did the death wobble, I experienced it multiple times in a 2010 ford f-250 that we use at work and it was unbelievable, it's so bad that I don't want one and wouldn't have one that does it , I own a 1992, 1997 1/2 ton Chevrolets and they have never done it nor has my 2015 Chevrolet 2500 HD 4x4 but none of them have a straight front axle, I agree every brand has their problems but if you ever drive one that does at about 65mph you will want to go trade it in.
